Full Job Description
The Gardnerville Water Company is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Utility Manager – Engineer to lead and oversee the operations of our water utility. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing day-to-day operations and driving the strategic direction of the organization.
The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking professional with exceptional leadership skills and extensive knowledge of drinking water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all phases of water system projects, from planning to execution
- Review and approve engineering designs and project plans
- Provide leadership, development, and support to staff
- Oversee the water distribution system and utility business office operations
- Offer professional guidance on regulatory and operational matters
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders and the public
