What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Sr Java Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

Work closely with Product Owner to understand business requirements and prepare high level tasks for design and development.
Work closely with Architect's, Infrastructure team for any new project design review, Infrastructure redesign for cloud migration, etc.
Design and develop the solution for scalable, high-volume performing cloud based micro service APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
Design cloud native Application's to work with OpenShift and AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
Produce high quality code which is unit tested, reviewed with team, and strictly adhere to the agile test principles of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming and Business Driven Development (BDD).
Build, package, and deploy the application into OpenShift aPaaS and AWS cloud infrastructure and integrate continuously with Jenkins pipeline.
Involve in environment pipeline setup with various component like Junit testing, SonarQube code scanning, continues testing using cucumber, involved in technology upgrade from lower to higher version and fix Veracode Prisma vulnerabilities.
Identify environment complexity and provide solutions by implementing automation tools. Externalize configuration and monitor and alert the service flow, auto-discovers the flow of all traffic via appD and eSaaS
Participate in the sprint planning, review, backlog grooming, join the daily scrum meetings and provide status to scrum master as well as update in Jira tool.
Collaboration with team members and stakeholders to refine solutions and promote sharing of ideas Debug the issues, identify the root cause, and provide technical solution to the problems.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $179,982 per year

Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $197,980 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
