Responsibilities:What You'll Do

- Receives payments for member fees
- Balances and closes payment batches
- Enters and maintains member payment information into accounting system
- Ensures payment received from member is correct and is owed by the member
- Member interaction via phone, and email
- Cash and check handling
- Follows all required processes for accepting credit card and check payments
- Answers all member payment and earnings inquiries in a professional manner
- Uses appropriate chain-of-command for member inquiries when necessary
- Coordinate with pension plans to resolve member earning disputes
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Superlative interpersonal skills: Excellent phone manners. High degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally
- Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members
- Hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity
- Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by SAG-AFTRA's attendance policy
- Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years' cashiering experience
- 2 years' data entry experience
Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations:
- N/A
TESTING REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic skills- math, spelling, grammar and filing - passing score: 76%
- Word and Excel tests (basic and intermediate) - passing score: 76%
- 10-Key test (by touch)
- Typing test 35 WPM
