The Director of Procurement is responsible for developing a strategic plan to fulfill company business objectives for the corporate procurement and inventory management for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services. In this leadership role, you will direct the procurement of goods and services for the company; assist team members and colleagues with procurement related processes, develop and/or update policies and procedures; and development of a centralized program that will add value and efficiency to the organization. Your team will have tactical responsibility for the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems that support the company's acquisition and inventory management of goods and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
- 7-10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel experience strongly preferred
- Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance
- Experience with sourcing and building a vendor program
- Proven contract management and supplier experience
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
