    PSEG is seeking an Intern the Linden Generating Station in Linden, NJ on the Technical Department

    The successful candidate will assist with supporting on going plant projects (STG/CTG Transformer Replacement, STG Control Migration, BCUA Filtration Upgrade), Enhance Plant specific OEM Programs, and Organize and categorize plant design documents.

     

    Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2017 and May 2019. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. GPA information MUST be included on your resume for employment consideration.  Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record where required.

     

    All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students with GPA of 3.0 i staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, F-1 and HB-1 sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.

    As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
